About the Trainer

My Lypossage Story
I first heard about Lypossage as I was beginning my practice in 2000. It sounded fabulous and I was really interested in taking the class. However, at the time the class was cost prohibitive and time consuming. So I tucked it away saying I would take it at some time in the future.
In July 2005, it came to my attention again. I was looking at a continuing education brochure and saw Lypossage advertised. It came at a time when I was quite frustrated with my own appearance. The stress of starting a business, working many hours and eating poorly had taken a toll on my body. I had ballooned to a size 12 and 163 pounds and on my 5’1” frame. Not only did I feel unattractive, I didn’t feel like my ususal self. Having been a former aerobics instructor for 11 years, I still couldn’t budge the scale. When I touched my stomach, it didn’t feel like my own. While I’m not the type to consider liposuction, I was feeling desperate. I thought that this was very serendipitous for that Lypossage ad to appear at that time and I decided to call.
Training with Charles Wiltsie
There just happended to be a class in August so I signed up. I busily rescheduled clients in order to take the time off and travel to Connecticut for the training. I was really excited about the training and decided to become a trainer. In October, I traveled back to Connecticut to become a Lypossage Master Trainer.
Receiving Lypossage
I decided to find out out Lypossage first hand. So I trained a colleague and he performed the Lypossage treatment on me. We started the program on November 19, 2005. We finished on December 16, just four weeks after beginning the treatment because we were in the middle of our holiday rush, we wanted to finish fast.
I didn’t include an exercise program while I was getting Lypossage treatments. In fact, I only exercised once during the whole month. It is not that I didn’t want to. I just didn’t have any extra time. As far as diet goes, I usually eat about 90% organic, but during the Lypossage session, I probably only ate 75-80% organic, just because it was Thanksgiving and then two friend’s birthdays. I ended up losing 5 pounds and 18.75 inches in Zone 1 and 14.25 inches in Zone 2. I can now wear 2 sizes smaller! I am totally happy, but I just keep thinking how much better it could have been if I had exercised and ate normallyLypossage was the jump start my body needed. I started exercising regularly, continued my organic eating. I followed an eating plan described in Dr. Oz’s book, You on a Diet and continued with my Lypossage HomeCare. Since then I am now a size 6-8 and weigh 138 pounds almost two years later.
Formal Bio
After graduating from Marymount University, in Arlington, Virginia with a B.B.A. in International Business, I worked as V.P. of Sales and Marketing for a financial data company. The work was very challenging and demanding and had a hectic travel schedule. This left me feeling like I needed a gentler career. An opportunity arose for me to go massage school in 1999.
In October of 2000, I started a Day Spa called MassageWorks, Inc. offering massage, body treatments, facials and nail care to the general public. Since 2001, I have been offering continuing education to massage therapists as an Approved Provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
In July 2006, I sold the massage practice portion of MassageWorks as a license keeping the continuing education aspect of the business. I now combine teaching, coaching, speaking and writing skills to individuals and businesses.
Other Credentials
Certified Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, Certified Lypotherapist and Master Trainer, Licensed Esthetician, Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Coach, Neuro-linguistic Program (NLP) Practitioner, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner, and Feng Shui Practitioner.
